About Motordrome Tyre & Auto Services
Motordrome had its beginnings in the early 70s opening a small tyre service and retread plant in Hastings. The company grew to be one of the largest independent tyre companies in NZ, with eight tyre centres and three retreading factories throughout the lower North Island.
With the decline in retreading, Motordrome looked for complementary services to include with its tyre activities and decided to branch into mechanical servicing, WOF testing and batteries, joining with the AA to form Motordrome Tyre and Auto Services as it remains today, a complete one-stop shop providing customers with all their automotive needs.
